Smart kids need smart reads and in our opinion, all kids are smart. We aim to pack our books with a deliberately wide range of language devices, including puns, word play, alliteration, acronyms, foreshadowing, onomatopoeia, imagery, rhyme and humour. These devices are intended to extend reading levels while engaging readers in fun language play to support widening vocabularies.
