The Humans

Kate and Jane are owned by three boisterous wieners who inspire their storytelling. Both are secondary school teachers who enjoy writing for young people. Together they have 45 years of experience teaching languages, the arts, and humanities complemented by an obsessive interest in cool animal facts. 

With a love of dogs and comedy, these two are ready to make all kids laugh and learn. With an emphasis on word play, they are writing smart reads for smart kids. They aim to have their series of nosy cosy mysteries published for upper primary and lower secondary students. 

Kate and Jane aim to offer school and library workshops for students and teachers. The workshop objectives include enriching literacy, engendering a love of reading, and supporting creative writing skills. Supplementary resources for classroom use with appropriate curriculum links will be available on the Nosy Wiener website for schools and teachers.
